Safe Sex Dallas Reeves Starts Site, Goes Bareback

I got hit up a few weeks ago on Twitter by Dallas Reeves because his new site DallasReeves.com was going live and he was trying to get the word out about it. At that point everything on it was condom so I thought it was a bit odd that he was hitting me up. Then he explained that all future scenes would be bareback, so I figured I'd do a post on his site...

If you're like me and don't keep up with condom porn stars you may be wondering who in the hell is Dallas Reeves? What came up when I looked him up was sorta funny... I found a video he did for Falcon ("Dare") where, in hindsight, the cast is rather amusing. There's Dallas Reeves, who's clearly gone bareback. There's Mason Wyler who got outted for being poz and has gone bareback in a big way. And then there's Erik Rhodes - who died of a heart attack after years of abusing drugs and steroids. So all three of those in one DVD. If that's the current state of condom porn - then it's a mess...

The other thing that came up when I looked up Dallas Reeves was how Antonio Biaggi had gone off on him last year for giving a guy a bump of coke while the two of them were on full display on a float in the Ft. Lauderdale gay pride parade. Unlike Antonio, I'm more amused than incensed by the bump of coke. I mean it's clearly a stupid thing to do, but whether it was more than that depends on the other circumstances, IMHO. I mean porn stars can be messy - while you may not want that messiness in your daily life, it can be entertaining to watch. And at the end of the day they're adults. I don't want them to go so far and get so messy that they die (like Erik Rhodes), but there are lots of people who do a little coke now and then who lead productive lives.

What's a little odd about DallasReeves.com is that Dallas Reeves isn't in many (or any) or the scenes. I mean if you're going to name a site after yourself, wouldn't you be front and center in a lot of the scenes? This scene featured Seth Johson (the top) and Andrew Colins (the bottom). Presumably Dallas was behind the camera.

What I like about the scene, and seeing guys like Dallas Reeves associate themselves with bareback porn, is how mainstream bareback porn is becoming. I mean the guys are hot - sorta the "guy next door" type. Guys like that didn't do bareback porn 10 or 15 years ago. Barebacking is just becoming regular sex - which is a very good thing.
